| Objective: |
Act on matters of patient complaints, quality of services, fees, predeterminations, etc. These are treated in a manner as described in the Michigan Dental Association Peer Review Manual. |
| Composition: |
Chairperson and seven (7) other members to include at least one Board member. These members should have shown expertise that would be helpful to this committee. |
| Duties: |
Act on the following submitted written requests:
- Patient complaints.
- Quality of services.
- Fees.
- Predeterminations.

Interpretation of the Standards of Ethics, including but not limited to advertising inquiries, criticism of one dentist against another, and non-compliance with the decisions of the peer review committee. |

| Duties: |
- Interpretation of the Standards of Ethics.
- Interpret and render decisions on questions of advertising.
- Render decisions regarding criticism of one dentist against another.
- Rule on non-compliance with the decisions of the Peer Review Committee.
