| Composition: |
Five (5) members to include an Edgar A Honey award recipient, a past-president, and three (3) specialists from different specialties. |
| Duties: |
Edgar A. Honey Award: The most prestigious of awards which may not be presented annually. Recipients of this award shall possess numerous qualifications such as:
- A minimum of fifteen (15) years of active membership within the Society.
- A highly motivated individual with an outstanding moral character.
- Provides high standards in the delivery of services that are within the scope of that individual's practice of dentistry.
- Maintains continuing education while utilizing current techniques and concepts.
- Contributes to dentistry via literature and/or clinics.
- A concerned individual who inspires other dentists to perform outstanding dentistry.
President's Award: This award is given at the discretion of the president but shall be assisted by this committee whenever requested. The recipients of this award shall be limited to the members of this Society only.
Other Awards: This committee shall also assist with the selection of recipients for all other such awards whenever appropriate. The award recipients may not be limited to the Society members.
